Knowledge Base - Enable / Disable Call Waiting on phone setting [Yealink]

To Disable Call Waiting from the Phone Menu

  1. Press the Menu soft key.
  2. Press 2 for Features
  3. Press 2 for Call Waiting
  4. Navigate to highlight 1. Call Waiting and press the left or right arrow to toggle to Disable
  5. Press the Save softkey
  6. Press the Back softkey until you return to the idle screen

To Enable Call Waiting from the Phone Menu

  1. Press the Menu softkey
  2. Press 2 for Features
  3. Press 2 for Call Waiting
  4. Navigate to highlight Call Waiting and press the left or right arrow to toggle to Enable
  5. Press the Save softkey
  6. Press the Back softkey until you return to the idle screen

On cordless phones (W56H) the same function can be accessed by pressing OK -> 4 (Features) -> 3 (Call Waiting)

Call Waiting can also be enabled or disabled on the phone switch - if you are trying to enable, but not receiving a second call your call waiting may have been disabled on your extension. Please see the related article below.
