Knowledge Base - Enable / Disable Call Waiting on phone setting [Yealink]
To Disable Call Waiting from the Phone Menu
- Press the Menu soft key.
- Press 2 for Features
- Press 2 for Call Waiting
- Navigate to highlight 1. Call Waiting and press the left or right arrow to toggle to Disable
- Press the Save softkey
- Press the Back softkey until you return to the idle screen
- Press the Menu softkey
- Press 2 for Features
- Press 2 for Call Waiting
- Navigate to highlight Call Waiting and press the left or right arrow to toggle to Enable
- Press the Save softkey
- Press the Back softkey until you return to the idle screen
On cordless phones (W56H) the same function can be accessed by pressing OK -> 4 (Features) -> 3 (Call Waiting)
Call Waiting can also be enabled or disabled on the phone switch - if you are trying to enable, but not receiving a second call your call waiting may have been disabled on your extension. Please see the related article below.
