Knowledge Base - 2020.05.06 Counterpath Bria 5 for Mac Update BUG

During a recent upgrade of Counterpath Bria v5 for Mac, a default value seems to have changed. The option under SIP Account > Account > Domain Proxy is a checkbox "Register with domain and receive calls".

While previously checked, this checkbox seems to become unchecked.

The result of this change is that Bria will become unable to receive calls but will have no trouble placing calls.

This unfortunate error is not related to the phone service, but you may notice you "missed" calls / got voicemail for calls you didn't expect to miss.

Correcting this setting will resolve the issue.
