The SPA301G VoIP phone is the "on-a-budget" alternative to other VoIP phones. It's simple, no screen, and no programmable buttons, but with many of the other perks available that make VoIP more appropriate for office environments. Its compact design allows it to be mounted to a wall or placed out of the way on a small desk. This phone does lack a hold button and programmable buttons, but the handset is capable of the same high quality voice clarity found in other Cisco phones. The best selling points of this phone is its small size and low price.

BitBlock recommends this VoIP phone to a user who does not require about programmable buttons or hold and who generally remains in a stationary work space. This phone can be conveniently mounted to a wall to save space and provide a convenient way to answer calls anywhere in your workplace.

Phones that are not PoE enabled need to be located within approximately 5 feet of a power source. This may limit your selection of locations. For greater flexibility consider a PoE capable phone (with a PoE switch or PoE injector) to allow placement anywhere you have an available network connection.
